Balinese Traditional Clothes

There are some places making Balinese clothes. If you go there, you can see the process. Balinese traditional clothes are beautiful. The women generally wear colorful or white kebaya with batik kamben, which is like a sarong. The men usually wear white batik, songket kamben, or white shirts with saput. Any material can be used to make the kebaya although lace is the most popular one.

 

 

Jewelry Making Supplies

If you want to make jewelry with a professional polished look, go to Celuk village – not far from Ubud. This craft village with long historical has been producing gold and silvers that penetrating the local, national and international markets. Various type of jewelry, either as souvenirs or export commodities are produced in this village includes variation type of rings, necklaces, earrings, hairpins, brooch and others. In addition to this, the artisans at Celuk Village are responding to the market demands and also produce the modern products such as medal, models and culture symbols.

Coffee Plantation

If you are a coffee lover, then this trip is very fun because we are going to a coffee plantation. there we will see farmers how to process coffee, besides that we can also taste different types of coffee flavors for free.

Balinese Painting.

If you are into Balinese painting, you may like the artistic theme and unique style. There are many art markets and shops selling these paintings in Ubud. Not only you can shop for paintings, but you can also see how the paintings are created and made. This can be included in your Ubud tour itinerary.

 

 

Balinese Wood Carving

If you like exploring Ubud, it doesn’t hurt to check some of the artists working on Balinese wood carving as well. The carvings are beautiful and unique. A lot of them are bought as souvenirs. Tirta Empul Holy Water Temple

The Looks Siring Temple or Temple of the Holy Water is a place to purify ourselves of the bad influences in life where we can find traditional showers sourced from springs in this temple. this place is very good for spiritual activities, the water from this bath is very cold so it can refresh the mind.

 

 

Tegallalang Rice Terrace

The Rice Terrace of Tegallalang in Ubud is famous for its beautiful views of rice fields involving subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system). this place is so clean and still natural if you need refreshing this place is right.
